How did I get involved in engineering?
Getting involved in women in engineering initiatives can be done by joining student organizations, attending workshops, and participating in networking events. These opportunities provide support, resources, and a platform to connect with like-minded individuals.
What inspired me to pursue engineering?
My passion for problem-solving and a desire to make a difference in the world inspired me to pursue engineering. I wanted to challenge stereotypes and show that women can excel in STEM fields, especially in today’s political climate where diversity is crucial.
What advice do you have for new engineering students?
My advice for new engineering students is to stay curious and never hesitate to ask questions. Embrace challenges as learning opportunities, seek help when needed, and build a supportive network of friends and mentors to navigate your journey successfully.
